About Luis Lopez

Luis Lopez is the CEO of Go Hub.io Holdings Corp and subsidiaries and has spent his career in South Florida freight: drayage, LTL, truckload, warehousing and hazardous materials. Known in the industry as the “Freight Guru,” he hosts the Freight Guru Podcast and writes daily about how the freight business works and where it is heading.

He started building software for his own operation because he could not find a platform that connected shippers, dispatchers and drivers in real time. That experience shapes how he covers technology today: practical, skeptical of hype, and focused on what helps the people doing the work.

Luis Lopez’s Story

Luis was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He left college early to go into business for himself and learned from the entrepreneurs he met while working at a golf club. He started in hazardous materials shipping and went on to work across drayage, LTL, truckload and warehousing.
